A little bit of Heaven

I was born and raised in Colorado, it is my Home Sweet Home, and I love visiting.  Perhaps the best part about visiting though, is my family!

John and I landed in Colorado on Thanksgiving Day,  As soon as we arrived at my house, we began to help with the cooking and cleaning, all in preparation for our Thanksgiving feast.

After a couple of hours, we were ready to eat.  One of my mom's classmates (from dental school) joined us as well.  He is from Hawai'i and made us some Spam Musubi as one of our side dishes, and it was delicious!

The Spam Musubi is on the top right. It's basically sushi made with spam (cooked, of course). I was a little weary of it at first, but after eating it I was definitely converted...yummy!

After eating all this delicious food, we all fell into food-induced comas and ended up on the couch...

Even the dogs were affected

We eventually all awoke from our comas and had an exciting weekend together.  I sure do love visiting family, and I hope everyone had as enjoyable as a Thanksgiving as we did.  Here's to a great Christmas!
