Tonight we went ice-skating :-) John only fell once, and I didn't at all, which could be because we had to skate so slow since there were so many people there! Then we met some friends at our apartment for cookies and games :)

Lazy Friday Night
Friday, January 16
We spent our evening together just hanging out, making dinner, and watching TV. Then John went to exercise with his medicine ball, but this is what actually resulted :-)
Sleeping in strange places
Thursday, January 15
It looks like Wednesday was an exhausting day for both of us! When I came to bed at 1 AM, I found John like this. I thought he had gone to bed an hour and a half earlier… It looks like he fell asleep praying :)
Homework until midnight
Wednesday, January 14
It was another long day of school followed by hours of homework, including staying up until midnight working on my resume. Oh the joys of the last semester of college!

Exhausting day at school
Monday was the first day I saw a patient at school in an hour :-) I came home pretty exhausted and plopped down on the couch. This is John trying to make me laugh, and it worked :-)

Ordinary Date Night
Saturday, January 10, 2015
Today was one of those days I realized I don't take as many pictures as I should! This was the only picture we took yesterday… And it was an accident! Yesterday John worked most of the day and I worked on homework, but when he got home we went out for a little dinner at Olive Garden and went to the grocery store to pick up some essentials. While that may seem very ordinary it was fun to just spend the evening together :-)
Friday Night Institute!
Friday, January 9, 2015
This Friday we participated in the married student seminar at the Orem LDS Institute. We are members of the committee that plans this monthly event during the fall and winter semesters. We invite a speaker to come speak to the group and also provide dinner for those who come. It is always a great experience filled with the spirit! This month we had the opportunity to hear from Elaine S. Dalton and her husband. When I picked John up from work to go to the seminar, the mountain that he was working next to was just so beautiful I had to take a picture :-) The last picture is a picture of Sister Dalton, Brother Dalton and Brother Soderberg who is the Institute instructor in charge of the married student seminar!

Study Room!
This is the new "Study"" Room at school. Well I don't know if it's necessarily good for studying, but it is a fun place to relax. It's pretty cool! I will be spending a lot of time in here the semester

School, all day, every day
This photo just about sums up my day yesterday. I went to look for pictures that I took yesterday and x-rays were all that I found because school is about the only thing I did yesterday! This is going to be a long semester, but I know it will be worth it :-)

LAST First Day!
Yesterday was my last first day of school! I have 1 semester left of dental hygiene school, in April I will have my bachelors in dental hygiene! If you want a $10 dental cleaning, now is your chance! ;)

Family Sunday
Yesterday we got the chance to see 5 of our nieces and nephews as we visited John's parents. When I came in the house on Saturday night I was greeted with a big group hug because they were so excited to see me :)
We finally traveled home and the first thing we did was cook! I hadn't cooked in over a week and I had really missed it, so we made some homemade pasta with the pasta maker John got me for Christmas :)

Goodbye St. George!
January 2nd
On January 2nd, my cousin Emily Tanner was married in the St. George Temple to her husband Michael Orchard. It was a beautiful day, and we were so happy to be a part of it. Today I was reminded of the sacredness of the temple and the covenants made there.
Happy New Year!
We started the new year with a bang! On January 1st our family rented side-by-side's and four wheelers and went riding in the hills of St. George. Many members from my mothers side of the family were there. It was a fun way to start the new year!
This year I plan to take and post at least one photo each day on the blog. I hope this will help our family document our lives as well as keep our friends and family updated about what we are doing!
